Pope Francis has celebrated his 80th birthday with a mass and a gluten-free cake made by a pastry chef in Rome.<br /><br /> At the special morning mass, he asked his cardinals to pray for him after confessing the thought of old age frightened him.<br /><br /> Eight homeless people were invited to breakfast, before the Pontiff continued his day “as normal” with meetings and audiences.<br />
