<br /> <p>Mexico’s Colima volcano erupted multiple times on December 17, spewing lava down its flanks and emitting columns of steam and ash over the Jalisco and Colima provinces.</p><p>Jalisco’s civil protection department said that the columns of volcanic ash were over 6,000 feet high as the active volcano continued its periodic exhalations.</p><br /><p>The video shows one of the explosions that occurred late Saturday.
