Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who had teamed up with Ranbir Kapoor to make the highly successful 'Rockstar', hinted at his plans to take the story forward in a sequel. In an interview to a daily, when asked about making a sequel to 'Rockstar', Ali admitted that if he gets a good story, he will surely make a 'Rockstar 2' as he feels that the film has potential for a sequel. However, he added that he cannot think of a sequel without Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
