<br /> <p>A cat stuck in a tree in Auckland didn’t need a rescue team, but instead took a leap of faith on Thursday, December 22.</p><p>According to the Lonely Miaow Association Inc., a cat rescue operation, the cat got stuck in a tree in the Panmure suburb of Auckland. After “crying his little heart out” rescue crews were able to pinpoint the tree.</p><br /><p>The association described the incident in detail on Facebook:</p><br /><p>“With a ladder on each side, and two firefighters up the tree, there was a fair bit of rustling, and shaking of branches, and finally little naughty made a leap of faith and launched from the top. Its true that cats always land on their feet, he was a bit like a flying fox!</p><br /><p>“He hit the ground running! He was launched after by several firefighters who he managed to elude, and then our cat rescuer Mel with a fishing net set off in hot pursuit.
