While a few Indian actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat to name a few, had already marked their presence at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's red carpet appearance was certainly one of the most anticipated one. <br />For her first appearance at the Festival de Cannes 2013 red carpet, the former beauty queen chose to wear an Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture gown. The lace gown was a smart pick as it not only accentuated her assets but also camouflaged her problem areas. She kept her tresses loose and got her make-up right as well. Gold jewels and a black clutch finished her look. <br />For the celebration of 100 years of Indian Cinema, Aishwarya opted for a Sabyasachi couture lehanga-sari. The light-eyed actress gave the traditional attire a European twist by adding a hairband. Can't say that the look thrilled us much, as it made her look a little matronly.
