when asked if there were any item numbers in 'Gangs of Wasseypur', Director Anurag Kashyap quipped that when the film itself is an 'item', there is no need for any item numbers in the film. he further jokingly said that in his film, Yashpal Sharma is Malaika Arora Khan.
