The Pentagon warned North Korea over it's recent remarks to test out its latest long-range missile system. North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un said that the missile system, which could possibly reach U.S. soil, is entering the "final stages" before a test. The U.S. State Department called on North Korea to “refrain from provocative actions" that could pose a threat to international peace. North Korea conducted more than 20 ballistic missile tests in 2016 and five nuclear tests in the last decade, according to the New York Times.
