THE BAHAMAS — Alarming photographs are circulating on social media of a man reportedly speared through the head while on a diving excursion off the coast of the Bahamas. <br /> <br />Not much is known about this incident just yet, not even the man’s name. Photos of the man in hospital, both before and after the spear-removal surgery, are inciting a collective gasp among users online. Though most would call this an unlucky situation, doctors would probably say he’s the luckiest man alive. Had the spear pierced his head just a few millimeters higher, it would’ve likely proved fatal. <br /> <br />Instead, his surgery appears to have gone well, based off a post-surgery photo of the man offering a smile and gesturing with the peace sign.
