A bizarre video has emerged of people hitting a rock at a temple in India to produce a bell sound. <br /><br />The footage, shot on Sunday at the Mahakali Temple in Sabli near Pratapgarh, Idar, Gujarat, shows women hitting a big boulder with another rock, making it ring like a bell. <br /><br />It is believed that "ringing rocks", which are volcanic rocks, produce this sound due to internal elastic stresses.<br /><br />Other hypotheses suggest that the high iron content in the rocks is the origin of the mysterious sound.
