10 most awaited Bollywood films of 2017 & Release date <br /> <br />1. kaabil - 25 january <br />The trailer of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ has already got the audiences hooked. Both Hrithik and Yami <br /> <br />Gautam play visually impaired characters in the thriller. The film revolves around Hrithik’s character, who <br /> <br />wishes to avenge his wife’s rape and murder. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the movie will hit the theatres on <br /> <br />January 26, 2017 alongside ‘Raees’. It remains to be seen which film reigns supreme in the first box-office <br /> <br />clash of 2017. <br /> <br />2. Raees - 25 january <br />Shah Rukh Khan, sporting 'surma' in his eyes, a 'taaviz' around his neck, a generous stubble and oodles of <br /> <br />attitude, not only demands but deserves attention. Ever since the 'Raees' teaser was released in 2015, SRK <br /> <br />fans have been eagerly waiting for the film. Moving away from the role of a quintessential romantic hero, <br /> <br />Shah Rukh plays the role of a bootlegger who lives on his own terms. Set in 1980s Gujarat, ‘Raees’ will have <br /> <br />SRK in the titular role. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani <br /> <br />actress Mahira Khan. <br /> <br />3. Jagga Jasoos - 7 april <br />Yes, we know, this one has been a long wait. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif started shooting for ‘Jagga <br /> <br />Jasoos’ in 2013 but the film suffered several delays. While RK Jr and Katrina parted ways earlier this year, <br /> <br />the two continued to shoot for the Anurag Basu film. Now, the audience is looking forward to seeing the ex- <br /> <br />couple sharing screen space. The delays notwithstanding, Anurag’s talent as a director cannot be overlooked. <br /> <br />Here’s hoping the director lives up to our expectations when ‘Jagga Jasoos’ hits theatres in April 2017. <br /> <br />4. Bahubali-The Conclusion - 28 april <br />Baahubali is unarguably the most awaited movie of 2017. Though it is not a Bollywood movie, we are giving <br /> <br />it special mention as the Hindi version of the movie is expected to be a huge hit at the Box Office. Well, we <br /> <br />will get to know, ‘Kattappa Ne Baahubali Ko Kyun Maara’. <br /> <br />5. Tubelight - 26 june <br />The director-actor Jodi of Kabir Khan and Salman Khan are all set to reunite once more after Ek Tha Tiger <br /> <br />and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Titled as Tubelight, the movie will release in Eid 2017. Salman will undergo a <br /> <br />journey of enlightenment from India to China in the movie. <br /> <br />6. The ring - 11 august <br />Whether it is 'Jab We Met’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ or ‘Rockstar’, Imtiaz Ali is known to make romantic films that tug <br /> <br />at your heartstrings. So when the director and the ‘King of Romance’ Shah Rukh Khan decide to collaborate <br /> <br />on a project, you know you’re in for a joyride. ‘The Ring’ has Shah Rukh playing the role of a tourist guide <br /> <br />while Anushka Sharma reportedly plays a Gujarati girl. The film is currently being shot across Europe. <br /> <br />7. Robot 2.0 - 19 oct <br />The sequel of Robot will see a first-time collaboration of Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar, who will play the <br /> <br />baddie. Akshay’s villainous character will even try to demolish and destroy the Red Fort and the Indian <br /> <br />Parliament. Directed by Shankar, the movie will also feature Amy Jackson. Robot 2 will theatres in Sep <br /> <br />2017. <br /> <br />8. Golmal again - 19 oct <br />Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are finally reuniting for Golmaal 4. Being a sequel of India’s most famous comic <br /> <br />franchise, Golmaal 4 makes it to the most awaited movies of 2017. <br /> <br />9. Padmawati - 17 nov <br />Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reuniting with Deepika and Ranveer for the third time after Ram-Leela and Bajirao <br /> <br />Mastani. The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari. Like most of SLB movies, Padmavati <br /> <br />will be grand. It will hit the theatres on 17 Nov 2017. <br /> <br />10. Tiger zinda Hai - 22 dec <br />A sequel to 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai brings back Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif <br /> <br />together again. The movie will be directed by Abbas Ali Zafar and is scheduled to release on 22 Dec 2017.
