How can a father's love for his child change the world? Let me introduce you to Jeff and Kennedy Snyder.

Kennedy Snyder was 2 years old when she was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor. According to the American Cancer Society, "brain and central nervous system tumors are the second most common cancers in children, making up about 26% of childhood cancers."

With a prognosis of just 5 years, Kennedy, now 16 is still battling the tumor, but having been "off of chemotherapy for the past few years she is thriving," said her father Jeff Snyder.

In order to one day find a cure for his daughter's cancer, Jeff has founded Warriors For A Cure, which focuses its efforts on raising money specifically for pediatric cancer.

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, so this past September, Warriors For A Cure partnered up with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation For Childhood Cancer and put on Alex's Million Mile.

Alex's Million Mile allowed people across the globe to pledge to dedicate miles (running, walking and even biking) to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. Last year the event raised over $66,000 for pediatric cancer and this year they hope to raise even more!

"If we keep positive, we'll have all we need to find a cure, finally," said Kennedy Snyder.

If you want more information or would like to donate to this cause, visit https://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/....
