ISPARTA, TURKEY — Photographs circulating the internet depicting two men standing next to a dog whose ears have just been cut off have led to their arrest. <br /> <br />The details behind the photo are unclear, but reports indicate the two men may have been involved in a dogfighting ring. When their dog lost a fight, they supposedly decided to torture him by cutting off his ears. <br /> <br />A petition started to get justice for the dog notes that the two had a friend videotape the scene, the poor dog screaming in pain. The video has since been taken down. <br /> <br />Authorities have since busted up the animal fighting ring, which led to a number of dogs and roosters being seized. <br /> <br />The two men in the photograph, Hasan Kuzu and Neset Yaman, have since been arrested, and fined roughly $1,150 for their crimes. Meanwhile, the maimed puppy, now without ears, has yet to be found.
