A heartwarming video has emerged of a good samaritan rescuing a frozen bird stuck to the ground on the shore of a river in Maribor, Slovenia. <br /><br />The footage, shot on January 25, shows a Common Cot lying on the shore of a lake, unable to move. Then, a man helps the bird by lifting it up from the frozen ground.<br /><br />''While I was returning back from the gym on the Lent bank of Drava river in Maribor I stumbled on a black water bird Common Coot that has frozen to the ground,'' the rescuer later wrote online. <br /><br />''After I lifted her, I noticed that she had a limp on one foot so I took her home for a rehabilitation process,'' he added.
