The Department of Defense plans on renting a space in President's Trump New York building, Trump Tower. The military is “working through appropriate channels . . . to acquire a limited amount of leased space in Trump Tower,” Pentagon spokesperson Lt. Col. J.B. Brindle told The Washington Post. Trump's Secret Service detail is based in another one of the president's midtown tower, where he also owns a triplex penthouse. While Trump is currently living in the White House, First Lady Melania Trump and their son Barron reside in the Trump Tower.
