Tom Hiddleston is finally explaining himself for that ridiculous I Heart T.S. tank top he wore during his brief relationship with Taylor Swift. <br /><br />Everyone was thinking, wait, there’s no way this guy would seriously make that for himself after just a couple weeks into this relationship, right? <br /><br />Well Hiddleston comes clean to GQ magazine and the 35-year-old actor confirms that it was just a joke. He tells the magazine, “The truth is it was the Fourth of July and public holiday and we were playing a game and I slipped and hurt my back… And I wanted to protect the graze from the sun and said, ‘Does anyone have a t-shirt?’ and one of her friends said, ‘I’ve got this.’” <br /><br />Turned out to be more of an inside joke among friends there than any sort of affectionate puppy love gesture. <br /><br />Now, the jokes on all of us who thought Hiddleston was serious. <br />
