Footage of the aftermath of a coal mine explosion in Hunan Province, China that led to the deaths of at least eight people. <br /><br />The video, filmed earlier today at the pit in Loudi, shows emergency vehicles and rescuers on the scene searching through the rubble for survivors. <br /><br />At least three people are reportedly still missing. <br /><br />According to local reports, coal mine explosions like this are all too common in China, which is the largest producer and consumer of coal in the world. <br /><br />Hundreds of workers are killed every year working in the mines, usually due to explosions caused by leaking gas being ignited by some kind of spark. <br /><br />The cause of this blast has not yet been confirmed.
