STEAM MINCED PORK WITH SALTED DUCK EGG <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />This recipe is mainly enjoyed by Asian people because <br />of its simplicity, easy to prepare and nice to go along <br />with hot steamed rice. Please give a try. <br /> <br />INGREDIENTS: <br />----------------------- <br /> <br />200gm minced pork <br />1 salted duck egg <br />1 teaspoon of light soya sauce <br />1 tablespoon of cornflour <br />1 shallot (chopped) <br />1 teaspoon of shredded ginger <br />1 teaspoon of chinese cooking wine <br /> <br />Method: <br />------- <br /> <br />Add soya sauce and shallot to minced pork <br />Add cornflour and mixed well. <br />Add the salted egg white to the minced pork. <br />Mix thoroughtly and then add the egg york on top <br />of the minced pork. <br /> <br />Then add on top with shredded ginger pieces. <br /> <br />Steam at high heat for approx. 12 minutes. <br /> <br />Finally garnish with some spring onion pieces on top <br />and serve with hot steamed rice, noodles or bread. <br /> <br />This recipe is quick easy and simple yet satisfying.
