MISSION, TEXAS — A man is facing charges of animal cruelty after he was caught on camera dragging his German Shepherd down the sidewalk behind his motorized scooter. <br /> <br />A woman driving through the neighborhood captured video of the incident on her phone and posted it on Facebook, WTSP reported. <br /> <br />In the 10-second video, the woman can be heard saying, “I know where you live, don’t worry.” <br /> <br />The man, Mario Cardona, 59, replies, “You ain’t going to do nothing,” as he continues to ride down the sidewalk dragging the animal. <br /> <br />“Don’t worry, I’ll call the cops on you,” she says in the video. <br /> <br />“It’s my dog,” Cardona yells back at her. <br /> <br />Authorities say they received hundreds of calls from concerned citizens after watching the video on social media, according to WTSP. <br /> <br />Cardona has been arrested and animal control has taken away his dog, WTSP reported. <br /> <br />The dog’s name is G2, and she is currently at an animal shelter where she is doing fine.
