Dramatic footage has emerged from China of rescue crews battling torrential winds to save motorists caught up in a severe storm. <br /><br />The video, captured in Turpan, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region last Sunday, shows strong winds buffeting rescue crews as they try to lift a driver to safety. <br /><br />According to local reports, vehicles on the road were blown around and the visibility was less than one metre. <br /><br />Ten firefighters and two personnel carriers were sent to the scene to rescue 51 people who were stranded.
