Dramatic footage has emerged of a powerful snowstorm bringing whiteout conditions on the roads in northwestern China. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Tacheng, Xinjiang Urghur Autonomous Region on Sunday, shows vehicles stranded in the thick blizzard which caused extremely low visibility.<br /><br />According to local reports, over 200 people participated in rescuing the trapped travellers and vehicles.
