Here’s our first look at John Travolta playing mob boss John Gotti in the new movie,The Life and Death of John Gotti.<br /><br />The film was shooting in Brooklyn New York and as you can see, Gotti’s mad about something.<br /><br />Must mean one of these guys will be swimming with the fishes some time soon.<br />Funny enough, Travolta wasn’t the first choice to play the Dapper Don. Sylvester Stallone was originally cast – but he later dropped out… <br /><br />And Travolta stepped into Gotti’s gator shoes without missing a beat.<br /><br />Rumor has it he even wore many of John Gotti’s clothing accessories during the production, such as his ties and whatnot.<br /><br />The film is scheduled for release later this year, but exactly when is still unknown.<br /><br />Fun fact: Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, plays his wife in this movie… and their daughter Ella Bleu actually plays their daughter.<br /><br />Gotta love a mob movie that keeps it all in the family.<br />
