Gold was the theme of night at the Academy Awards and we’re not talking about the Oscar statue. <br /><br />The beautiful leading ladies took the hunt for Oscar gold to heart on the red carpet. <br /><br />Emma Stone’s best actress academy award for her role in La La Land is the perfect accessory to her nineteen-twenties inspired Givenchy gown. <br /><br />Jessica Biel showed off her enviable figure in a gold Kaufman Franco gown on the red carpet and carried the gold theme into the evening by changing into a very low-cut Ralph Lauren Collection dress that featured a metallic gold cape. <br /><br />Charlize Theron stunned in a gold Dior dress that almost sparkled as much as her earrings, which were made of almost sixty carats of diamonds. <br /><br />Chrissy Teigen did her best to try and distract us with a thigh-high split in her white and gold Zuhair Murad gown <br /><br />Amy Adams skipped the red carpet at the Oscars but didn’t disappoint at the Vanity Fair after party in this plunging shimmering gown. <br /><br />Dakota Johnson carried on the gold them as well but her dress looks like she stole the satin sheets off her grandma’s bed. Not a good look. <br /><br />And Sofia Vergara proved once again that age is just a number.
