Former transport minister Ong Tee Keat has quit MCA, after more than 30 years as a member and having served as its eighth president. <br /> <br />In a text message to Malaysiakini, Ong confirmed his resignation, which was first reported by China Press. <br /> <br />However, Ong remained coy on the reasons behind his decision and said he did not even make any announcement on the matter.
