FRIED SPRING ROLLS <br />---------------------------------- <br />Ingredients: <br />----------------- <br />500g sengkuang/jicama/sweet turnip <br />100g minced meat <br />3 tablsp shredded carrot <br />3 tablsp coriander <br />6 pcs of spring roll pastry <br />1 tapsp of salt <br />1 tablsp of chicken powder <br />1 tablsp oyster sauce <br /> <br />Method <br />----------- <br />1. Marinate minced meat with a bit of soya sauce, sesame oil & teasp of coriander <br />2. In heated oil add 2 tablsp of oil, add minced meat, fry until cooked add carrot cloud ears and sengkuang. Fry for a while <br />and lastly add coriander. Dish out to cool. <br /> <br />3. when cooled, wrap the filling with spring roll pastry <br />4. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. <br /> <br />For the rice roll <br />----------------------- <br />6 pieces of rice paper roll sheet, Scald the rice paper in warm <br />/hot water. When soft take out. lay on a flat surface. <br />wrap with leftover fillings. <br /> <br />Ready to serve! Yummy.
