CRISPY FRIED SEAFOOD TOFU <br />--------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />------------ <br />500g tofu (mashed) <br />2 egg yolks <br />200g fish paste <br />100g prawn paste <br />2 tablsp plain paste <br />1 tablsp chopped spring onions <br />1 chopped red tablsp chilles <br />1 teasp salt <br />1 teasp salt <br />1 teasp chicken powder <br />A bit of ground pepper <br />50g tapioca flour for dusting <br /> <br />Method <br />------- <br />1 . Mix salt with mashed tofu, chicken powder, and plain flour <br /> <br />2. Add a bit of ground pepper, chillies, spring onions. <br />Mix well together. <br /> <br />3. Combie tofu mixture with fish & prawn paste, mix until <br />well combined. <br /> <br />4. Pour into a lined six inche square pan. Level the surface <br />with the back of spoon. Steam oven medium heat for 10 mins <br /> <br />5. Remove and set aside to cool <br /> <br />6. Cut into rectangles and dust with tapioca flour. Shake <br />off excess flour. Fry in hot oil until crispy and golden <br />brown. Dish it out and ready to serve with chillie sauce or <br />mayonnaise <br /> <br />Yummy & delicious!
