A bizarre video has emerged from China of a car reversing into a restaurant because the driver allegedly pressed the accelerator by mistake.<br /><br />The CCTV footage, captured in Chongqing last Tuesday, shows a car smashing the glass door of the restaurant as it reverses.<br /><br />The restaurant owner can be seen rushing inside the restaurant to avoid being hit by the car.<br /><br />According to local news, the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake by mistake.<br /><br />A customer was reportedly injured by the smashed glass door.<br /><br />The driver and the restaurant owner are said to be negotiating the compensation.
