by Andrew Caringi

There’s now a way to get vaccinated without the pain of needles.
The MucoJet was developed by researchers at the University of California, Berkeley. It’s a pill that you hold in your mouth and push against your cheek. Once you’ve applied enough pressure, the pill releases the vaccine in the form of a microjet. The microjet pushes through your cheek’s mucosal layer into tissue packed with immune cells. Researchers compare the feeling to a small prick. More testing is needed before MucoJet is available to the public.

The post Say Goodbye To The Annoying Needle Injections appeared first on Vocativ.
