Footage has emerged from China of a fire at a scrapyard reportedly containing more than 6,000 scrapped vehicles. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Haikou, Hainan Province on March 2, shows the whole scrapyard being swallowed by the blaze, as a huge plume of smoke rises into the sky. <br /><br />According to local reports, more than 40 fire engines and 230 firefighters were sent to tackle the flames, working for seven hours before finally getting it under control. <br /><br />No one was injured.
