MUSHUMBI POOLS, ZIMBABWE — Reports out of northern Zimbabwe tell the gruesome story an 8-year-old schoolboy who had a deadly run-in with a croc on his way home from school. <br /> <br />The child was reportedly last seen on March 13 around 5 p.m. As he was crossing the Dande River in Mushumbi Pools, it’s believed that’s when the crocodile struck, taking the boy underwater, and out of sight. <br /> <br />When locals could not account for the child, they suspected the crocodile, shooting it the next day. Once they sliced open the monster’s belly, inside they found the half-digested body parts of the missing boy. <br /> <br />This is the second report this month of a man-eating croc in Zimbabwe, after a 40-year-old fisherman’s intestines were found inside the belly of another beast.
