<br /> <p>Cliff Butlin, a guide at the Mjejane Private Game Reserve in South Africa, on March 21 found himself and his guests amid a herd of buffalo stampeding to escape some lions.</p><p>In this video, a calf becomes separated from the pack and is killed by a lion. Butlin can be heard warning his guests to “sit very, very still” as the lion approaches the calf and only decides to move the vehicle away from the kill after a male lion approaches the scene.</p><br /><p>Butlin said that he was literally shaking after witnessing the events unfold, according to reports</a>.
