<p>An attack occurred at the UK’s Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London, on March 22, the Metropolitan Police (Met) confirmed in a statement</a>.</p><p>Police said they were treated it as a “terrorist incident.” Parliament was placed on lockdown, and the surrounding areas were cordoned off.</p><p>According to multiple reports, an assailant attacked police officers at the parliament buildings, stabbing one officer before being shot.</p><p>This video shows security officials rushing outside the buildings, and appearing to tend to a person on the ground. Jaden Patel, who shot the video, told Storyful he heard gunshots and saw people running. He said he understood both a police officer and an assailant were being treated medically, but said he did not know who was being treated in his video.</p><p>Around the same time, a vehicle reportedly</a> drove through and injured a number of people on the nearby Westminster Bridge. A video shared on Twitter</a> showed people lying on the ground on the bridge.</p><br />
