Chris Pratt hasn't always been in the best of shape, and although he looks great these days, he knows what body shaming is all about too.

The actor posted a humorous but real take on the issue via Instagram, using a prop from Jurassic World 2.

He says, "just because I'm male doesn't mean I'm impervious to your whispers... body shaming hurts."

Pratt has been posting videos of the snacks he eats on set filming his new blockbuster in short episodes called #WhatsMySnack. Apparently some fans are commenting how he looks skinny, especially compared to his heftier frame a few years ago.

Pratt says, "so to prove my security in the way I look I'm posting a current selfie of me at what I consider a very healthy weight. 500 lbs. zero percent body fat."

Of course the joke is it's a picture of a t-Rex skull, so although he's kidding, his message is thought provoking: Hollywood ladies aren't the only victims of body shaming online.
