Students at Cornell Law — which is in Ithaca, northwest of New York City — will be able to study legal issues including technology information, especially privacy<br />and cybersecurity, at Cornell’s new technology campus starting in the spring semester of 2018.<br />Cornell Law to Start Program on Roosevelt Island -<br />By ELIZABETH OLSONMARCH 24, 2017<br />Cornell Law School, one of the top-ranked law schools in the nation, plans to offer a new juris doctorate<br />program at the soon-to-be opened Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island in New York City.<br />Students will be able “to explore the diverse legal issues raised by information<br />and technology, such as privacy and cybersecurity, as well as the constitutional and regulatory implications of new technology and big data,” he said.<br />The new program in information and technology law will accommodate up to 20 full-time law students each semester.<br />Cornell will not be the only law school in New York City that offers technology courses.
