US-backed forces halt operations near Syria's Taqba dam

US-backed forces in Syria have paused a military operation near the major Taqba dam amid offensive to push ISIL from the area.<br />The Kurdish-led SDF fighters have also been battling for control of a military airport nearby. <br />
