A stunning video has emerged of a blizzard hitting Mount Etna as it erupts.<br /><br />The footage, shot in Sicily, Italy, on Monday, shows strong winds and snow falling on the glowing lava on the slopes of the volcano. <br /><br />"The Etna volcano continues to erupt although the explosive activity has faded, for over a week continues the emission of lava from a fracture at the base of the Southeast Crater at an altitude of 3000 meters," the filmer wrote online. <br /><br />"This is the latest of many lava flows generated from the crater in March and until now has dropped down for kilometres reaching an altitude of 2400 meters," they added.
