There's no rhyme or reason that rapper Kanye West may help reboot American Idol for a new generation, even if that’s the word on the street. <br /><br />According to TMZ, it's rumored that Kanye was approached to be the host of an American Idol resurrection on NBC... But you won't see Kanye walking in Ryan Seacrest’s footsteps.<br /><br />TMZ reports, "There is no conversation with Kanye West to join American Idol or any other show for that matter."<br /><br />Although we could see Kanye grabbing a mic and introducing hopeful artists, we believe he has a lot of other priorities to focus on instead.<br /><br />If we see Kanye hosting or on a judges panel, we'll probably sooner see him on America's Top Model than anywhere else. <br />
