<p>State Emergency Service crews rescued residents living in flooded parts of Beaudesert, west of Brisbane, early on Friday, March 31, as the region was lashed by heavy rainfall.</p><p>Andrew Jack, who filmed some of the rescue efforts, said several people and pets were brought to safety amid heavy flooding created by the remnants of former Tropical Cyclone Debbie</a>.</p><p>According to the ABC,</a> residents living in low-lying areas of south-east Queensland were told to evacuate, while some roads in and out of Beaudesert were closed</a>.</p><br />
