<p>Lismore community figure Robert ‘Big Rob’ Hamdan</a> broadcast live on Facebook on April 3, showing businesses on Lismore’s main street in the aftermath of the region’s flooding following ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie</a>.</p><p>Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian visited Lismore</a> on April 3.</p><p>Turnbull said the disaster was “gut-wrenching” and Berejiklian described the flood as a “once in 40-year event”, according to ABC.</p><p>Lismore City Council</a> reported the main street of the central business district, Keen St, was closed to traffic during the cleanup. Crews were attempting to clear rubbish and debris from the streets.</p><p>Hamdan is a local business owner and expressed his disgust about looters scouring rubbish piles, as well as the state of his property, following the flood.</p><br />
