Lafayette Roads Flood After Several Inches of Rainfall

<p>Severe storms swept through Lafayette, Louisiana, early on Sunday, April 2, causing roads to flood and hail to pound several neighborhoods.</p><p>The Advocate reported</a> the the storms struck Lafayette at around 9 AM, with three to six inches of rain forecasted in the city, as well as in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.</p><p>Traffic was snarled after strong winds knocked out traffic lights. Cars were stranded in high water below a flooded underpass, according to KATC.</a></p><br />
