BELFAIR, WASHINGTON — A homeowner was arrested on Saturday for sending an intruder to a dirtnap who was taking a shower in one of his homes.

The homeowner, Bruce Fanning, has now been charged with a second-degree no no, Komo News reported.

The man, now deceased, was identified as Nathaniel Joseph Rosa, 31, of Bothell by the Mason County coroner’s office.

The homeowner owns two properties on the same street. One house that he says he he lives in and the other which he reportedly uses to run an internet-based business, according to Komo News.

The house where he runs the business is where the incident took place, Mason County sheriff’s deputies said.

According to police, the homeowner said he went over to the house around 8 a.m. and discovered that his front door had been kicked in. He later discovered Rosa in the shower and they exchanged some words.

The homeowner then went back to house that he lives in to retrieve his firearm.

He came back to introduce Rosa — who was still sans clothes — to the 2nd Amendment.

The homeowner then called 911 and said that he had put a burglar down.

Authorities don’t believe the homeowner gave Rosa any warnings before discharging his weapon.

Police said the homeowner is cooperating with detectives.
