<p>Thousands of people were displaced when Nigerian security forces raided and demolished a slum on the outskirts of Lagos on Sunday, April 9, with one person killed during the police action.</p><p>The Otodo Gbame settlement was, at one point, home to tens of thousands of people, but a series of raids and evictions since November 2016 had reduced that number.
