<br /> <p>Security forces used tear gas to disperse demonstrators in Caracas, Venezuela, on April 10, in the fourth round of protests</a> in the crisis-hit country in 10 days.</p><p>This footage shows an overhead view of protesters running from tear gas explosions near Plaza Francia, in eastern Caracas.</p><p>El Nacional</a> reported that protesters responded to the gas by throwing stones at Bolivarian National Guard forces, while BBC News</a> reported that 18 metro stations and 20 bus routes had been suspended due to the clashes and commotion in the streets.</p><p>Protests have been held in Caracas since last week against the Venezuelan Supreme Court’s March 30 decision to strip power from the opposition-controlled National Assembly, and later, in a separate move, Venezuela’s comptroller banned opposition leader Henrique Capriles from holding office for 15 years .</p><p>The Supreme Court has since withdrawn its ruling, but the move drew criticism and condemnation from Venezuelan opposition politicians and international governments alike.</p><br />
