A dramatic video has emerged of a snowboarder outrunning an avalanche just as he is about to get swiped. <br /><br />The footage, shot at Vasquez Peak, CO, USA on April 3, captures the moment Heath manages to veer to his right in order to avoid the avalanche. <br /><br />The filmer, Alex Sprockel, explained that Heath decided to ride down the slope even though the terrain had not been skied recently which might have triggered the avalanche.
