2018 Porsche Cayenne-Specs,Engine,Release,The second-generation Porsche Cayenne is about to get an update. The third-generation vehicle has been spied, and there are several interesting things to point out about the new model. First of all, the most obvious thing that is going to change is the platform that this sports utility vehicle rests on. New Cayenne is going to share the Volkswagen Group’s MLB platform with several other vehicles such as Audi Q7, Audi Q5 and Bentley Bentayga. The upcoming Volkswagen Touareg will also share this architecture. The new platform will provide the 2018 Porsche Cayenne with more rigidity and less weight. This will result in even more speed and much better fuel economy.

It also seems that the back of the car is going to get several changes. Taillights have been redesigned, and the roof is slightly sloped on that end. On the front, we can expect a larger grille and what seems to be a hood resembling the Macan’s clam-shell hood. All in all, the exterior of the car won’t change much. This is to be expected, considering the fact that the German automobile makers rarely fix things that aren’t broken.

In the interior, we can expect a more elegant and comfortable seating, along with more technologically advanced systems. Some of the features on the dashboard are the infotainment system and satellite radio. Bluetooth connectivity and USB port will also be available. The interior is going to be very luxurious and futuristic. The automotive technologies are going to be very intuitive and easy to use. Some other features that might be available as well are stability control, cruise control, and many others. The driving position is going to be greatly improved.
