The third-generation vehicle has been spied, and there are several interesting things to point out about the new model. First of all, the most obvious thing that is going to change is the platform that this sports utility vehicle rests on. New Cayenne is going to share the Volkswagen Group’s MLB platform with several other vehicles such as Audi Q7, Audi Q5 and Bentley Bentayga. The upcoming Volkswagen Touareg will also share this architecture. The new platform will provide the 2018 Porsche Cayenne with more rigidity and less weight.
