<p>Imagery captured by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s GOES-16 satellite on April 14 reveals storms moving across the northern Texas region.</p><p>This footage includes both a normal and slowed down view of the satellite imagery.</p><p>Multiple tornadoes came down upon the Texas panhandle near the New Mexico border that day, News9</a> reported. Most were signed near Friona, in Palmer County, and Dimmitt, in Castro County.</p><p>On its website</a>, the NOAA has stated a disclaimer that its “GOES-16 satellite has not been declared operational and its data are preliminary and undergoing testing.” The satellite launched in November 2016 and will be declared operational 6 to 12 months after the launch.</p><br />
