<p>A contractor has been in charged in connection with a five-alarm fire in New York City on Tuesday, April 11, that injured 11 firefighters.</p><p>Declan Mcelhatton, 53, of Maintenance Asset Management in Yonkers, was to be charged with arson and reckless endangerment, according to a report</a>. The fire was caused by an open flame near combustibles, the report said.</p><p>The fire damaged 112 units in the seven-story building, and 67 families had registered with the local American Red Cross chapter. Fifteen of those families needed emergency housing.</p><p>The FDNY used its drone in the firefight and released the footage from it on Thursday.</p><br />
