<p>The British Royal Navy said it was escorting a pair of Russian warships through the English Channel on Saturday, April 15, after spotting the ships in the North Sea on Friday.</p><p>Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said</a> the frigate HMS Sutherland was tracking the two Russian ships, Steregushchiy-class corvettes Soobrazitelny and Boiky. The Royal Navy said the warships had been joined by a Russian support tanker and an ocean-going tug.</p><br />
