<p>Steve and Susie Polston thought someone was breaking into their house in the Mount Pleasant area of Charleston, but in actual fact it was a nine foot alligator which had climbed onto their porch, according to reports</a>.</p><p>The homeowner recorded the video while he tried to get the gator to leave his porch.</p><br /><p>The gator had climbed a set of stairs and come in through a porch door. The Department of Natural Resources contractor told the homeowner that the behavior was unusual, he also recorded a video related to the same incident which can be seen here</a>.
