<p>Supporters of Pakistan’s prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, cheered the Supreme Court’s decision on April 20 to allow Sharif to stay in office during investigations into money-laundering and tax evasion alleged by the Panama Papers.</p><p>According to reports</a>, the Supreme Court ruled that there was “insufficient evidence” to remove Sharif from office and has ordered the creation of a “Joint Investigation Team” to further investigate Sharif and his three children.</p><br />
