<p>The Australian Defence Force released vision on April 19 showing the Air Task Group participating in air combat operation in Syria and Iraq, dubbed “Defeat Daesh”.</p><p>The operation involved striking targets with the intention to “disrupt and degrade” Daesh, also known as The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.</p><p>The footage shows missiles landing on targets at an unidentified location.</p><p>According to The New Daily</a> defence minister Marise Payne confirmed in April that Australian forces were limited to air operations in eastern Syria.</p><br />
